Joke - Mid Life Crisis

After being married 25 years, the man looked at the wife and said, "Honey, do you realize 25 years ago, I had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on a sofa bed and watched a 10 inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep every night with a hot 25 year old blond. "

"Now, we have a nice house, nice car, big bed and plasma screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 50 year old woman. It seems to me that you are not holding up your side of things!" 

Now the wife is a very reasonable woman. 

The wife told him to go out and find a hot 25 year old blond, and she would make sure that he would once again be living in a cheap apartment, driving a cheap car, sleeping on a sofa bed....

Finally, the riddle is solved.

A social-scientist has arrived at this simple and logical explanation. When the bride, accompanied by her father, starts to walk slowly down the long aisle, she sees the altar at the end and hears the choir singing a hymn. Walking down the aisle, the conditioning process starts where the brain absorbs these three stimuli: Aisle, altar, and hymn.

The Farmer And His Donkey

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL :


Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.

2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.

3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.

4. Give more.

5. Expect less from people but more from yourself.

A Man went to an inn in a small village. He passed the Inn Keeper $1000 to check in. 
While he is walking up the stairs to check out his room,
The Inn Keeper immediately left to pay the Pork Seller the $1k he owed for the pork; 
The Pork Seller return $1k to the Farmer for the pig;
The Farmer went to pay up the $1k he owed to the Feed Supplier;
The Feed Supplier returned the $1k to the Prostitute he called last night;
The Prostitute quickly went to pay up the room rental to the Inn Keeper;
So the $1k is back with the Inn Keeper.
The man came back down and said he didn’t like the room, took the refund and left. However the entire village debts were cleared in that short while.

The Calcium Paradox - Dr Kate Rheaume-Bleue

The body needs calcium to build strong bones and teeth. But calcium does not act alone. It needs vitamin D for absorption, vitamin K2 to distribute it to the right places and vitamin A to discharge excess calcium. Calcium also needs magnesium to balance it.

Vitamin K2 does 2 things. It put calcium in the right places, ie, bones and teeth and removes calcium from places where it should not be, ie, soft tissues like the arteries (plaque in arteries). eyes (cataract) and kidney (kidney stones).

Kate Rhéaume-Bleue, N.D. graduated from McMaster University with an honors B.S. in Biology and completed her professional training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, class of 2002. She followed with a two-year residency during which she taught classes and supervised at various teaching clinics.

Vitamin K2 And D With Dr Sarah Booth

One practical example is vitamin K2 not only prevents tooth decay, vitamin k2 can actually repair tooth cavities.

The takeaway:

1. There are 2 forms of Vitamin K2. 

One is plant base. The body can convert Vitamin K1 which is abundantly available from green leafy vegetables and turn it into Vitamin K2.

Vitamin K2 is also available from grass fed animals such as cattle and chicken. (The problem is many cows and chicken are no longer grass fed.)

The surprise is that Vitamin K2 can be found in fermented food, like natto (Japanese fermented soya beans), kimchi, tempeh and natural cheese.

2.  Drugs like coumarin and warfarin which are used to treat high blood pressure prevents vitamin K2 from doing its job. As a consequence, people with high blood pressure and using the drugs will eventually succumb to cardio vascular diseases.

3. She recommends that people eat more vegetables.
