Young Coconut And Health Benefits

The young coconut  has green husk and those sold in supermarkets already have their husk removed. It takes about a year for a coconut to mature.

Drinking the young coconut water helps to cool the body and maintain body temperature. The most important benefit is that the coconut water helps to detoxify the body.

Coconut water is a powerhouse of natural electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, trace elements, amino acids, enzymes, antioxidants and phytonutrients, and is low in sugar, but pleasantly sweet

It’s great for post-exercise rehydration, but also has anti-inflammatory properties, protects your heart and urinary tract, is a digestive tonic, improves your skin and eyes, supports good immune function, and can even help balance your blood glucose and insulin level.

Coconut water is the richest dietary source of cytokinins, plant hormones that have anti-cancer, anti-aging, and anti-thrombolytic benefits in humans

The water is like electrolytes which helps to carry oxygen and nutrients to cells in the body. This helps to refresh the body. The water also helps to increase metabolism and clean the digestive tracts. Coconut water starts to ferment when exposed to air.
