Recipe - French Beans Stir Fry With Sichuan Vegetable.

Tender, flexible green beans or snap beans or French beans are a delight of vegetable lovers for their wholesome nutritional values. When cooked, they have a sweet taste.

The lean green vegetables are a rich source of vitamins, minerals and plant nutrients. They have a good amount of vitamins A, B and C. In addition beans contain healthy amounts of iron, magnesium, manganese and potassium which are essential for body metabolism.

In this recipe the french beans are stir fried with shredded Sichuan vegetables which can be bought off the shelf. It is already seasoned with a bit of sugar and spice. (see picture). A small packet weighs 80 grams whereas a big packet comes in 200 grams.

This small packet of shredded Sichuan vegetables really add lots of flavour to the dish.

Mince pork and chopped dried shrimps are added for extra flavour. For the extra kick, I added a teaspoon of Sichuan peppercorn.
