Potala Palace, Lhasa, Tibet, China

The Potala Palace is the landmark of Tibet and the masterpiece of Tibetan architecture, located in the capital city, Lhasa. It was first built by the 33rd king Songtsen Gampo in 7th century and later rebuilt in the 17th century by the 5th Dalai Lama. Since then it was home to the Dalai Lama and his government.

Poppy visited the palace in 2019 and shares her video here.
