Grapes are a storehouse of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Red grapes are rich in resveratrol, an antioxidant which helps promote mental concentration, good for the heart ( prevent high cholesterol), slows down ageing and protects against cancer. Green grapes are rich in catechins another antioxidant with similar functions as those of the red grapes. Interestingly, the antioxidants are densely concentrated in the skin.
